Founder: Hailey

Hello everyone! My name is Hailey and I am the founder of NurseFitPRN. I am currently a Registered Nurse working on an orthopedic surgical floor in southern Alberta and graduated with my degree in 2023. I first established this small business during my third year of nursing school back in 2022. Upon going through school, I had recognized how burnt out and overworked the majority of nurses are and how they lacked the time or energy to prioritize their health. Upon discovering this, I created NurseFitPRN in order to create a community of healthcare workers who can empower one another to prioritize themselves and their health. I hope to achieve this through my apparel, education on my social media platforms, and utilizing my Personal Training certificate in the near future. 

Aside from working on my business and working in the hospital, you can find me working out at the gym, going for runs outside, walking my dog Jaxx, going on hikes in the summer, and playing soccer and all other kinds of sports.

Hi! My name is Jamie and I am currently finishing up my third year of nursing school in Edmonton. I just wanted to share my appreciation for NurseFit to include me in their goal of promoting our own health so that we can help others. I wanted to be a part of this movement because I wanted to help Hailey in anyway I could to grow this community of healthcare workers who want to better their health. I look forward to the future of NurseFit and the things she will bring to this community. Thank you for involving me Hailey, I'm very grateful and excited to be here!

Aside from going to school, I love to exercise and to stay active. I've played ringette my whole life as well as a multitude of other sports. I like to be outdoors and enjoy hiking or just walking my pup. I'm in my third year of nursing school and I'm not sure where it'll take me yet, but I'm excited for the future.
